For over a decade, St Clair House has been a much-loved home for older people in Camborne. Set in a characterful Georgian building just a short walk from the town centre, we care for up to 25 residents in a relaxed, homely atmosphere that feels far closer to family life than an institution.
Whether you’re looking for a permanent home, a short respite stay, or day care and companionship, our experienced team is here to help you and your loved one feel settled, safe and genuinely at home. “From the time of contacting St Clair to enquire about room availability for my mother until the time she moved in a few weeks ago, I was very impressed with the process. I was able to be present when an assessment was carried out on Mum prior to the move, and St Clair was so helpful by dropping a wheelchair at the previous home for transportation and ensuring Mum had the necessary equipment on arrival.
Mum has been made to feel so welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. I, myself, have found the staff very friendly and accommodating, which has put my mind at ease. Respite & Short-Stay Care
Short-term stays for those recovering from illness or a hospital visit, or to give family carers a well-earned break. Respite guests receive exactly the same warm welcome and full care as our permanent residents.

A friendly and caring place to spend the day — enjoying good food, activities and company in a safe, sociable setting, before heading home again.

Patient, understanding support for residents living with dementia and memory-related conditions, with a calm routine and staff who take everything in their stride.
